Our Training Program

begins with ten days in a happy, balanced dog pack.  We supervise your dog in our pack at all times and maintain consistent leadership. This is the key to effective socialization and your dog becoming more balanced. It sets the stage for a leader-follower relationship, and we guide you to be that leader. During your dog's ten day stay,we also introduce core commands: come, sit, stay, down,walk nicely on a loose leash. In the weeks to come you learn how to manage these commands in five private lessons, which you schedule here at Perfect Pooch.  Our training program also gives you a primer session to set you up for success.  This is a session full of critical information that focuses on your dog's specific needs and issues.  It includes helping you reinforce training by establishing guidelines at home.

Our Outdoor Boarding and Day Care Facility                                        

is supervised every day, rain or shine, by professional handlers.  We are a small, efficient team of dog professionals working together to ensure your dog is safe and happy.  Dogs spend most of the day out of doors, with an indoor break mid day for rest.  Our facility comprises a variety of large fenced yards with gravel underfoot, shaded areas and raised wooden platforms.  Afternoon breaks are in simple, clean crates or walk in kennels with raised dog beds.  We can accommodate elderly dogs, special needs dogs and puppies. Meds? No problem - we are experienced.

We Transport - Let us know what you need!  We offer pick up and delivery within a twenty mile radius.
